Who we are

Merci Developments (“we”, “us”) is a family-founded property development company operating in Malta. We act as the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at steve@zh.mt for any privacy matter.

What we collect

When you register interest through our website we collect the details you choose to share: your name, email address, phone number, preferred contact method, the property type and locality you are interested in, and any message you write.

We also keep minimal technical records (such as a hashed IP address) to protect the form from abuse.

Why we use it

We use your details solely to respond to your enquiry, share information about the developments you asked about, and follow up on your interest. The legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box before submitting the form.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.

Who can see it

Your enquiry is visible to the small Merci Developments team who handle sales and client relations. We rely on carefully chosen service providers to run our website, store data and send messages; they process data on our instructions only.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to handle your interest and for a reasonable period afterwards, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and you may withdraw your consent at any time. Write to steve@zh.mt and we will respond promptly. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Information and Data Protection Commissioner in Malta.
